Shipping and Delivery |

Cameras and Lenses are posted from our offices via courier (e.g., EMS, DHL, FedEx or UPS); all accessory items are posted via Registered Mail.

The delivery time to the UK, via courier, is normally 3 - 5 working days from the date of dispatch; Registered Post will take between 7 – 14 working days.

Upon confirmed payment we will despatch from our warehouse. We only list items held in stock. You will receive a tracking reference upon despatch so that you can track progress of your consignment up to delivery.

Our Postal charges are based on actual rates published by our various courier partners: their
rates are freely available on the web. For guidance the breakdown of our charge is made up of:

- 5% Packaging (box, bubble wrap, peanuts, and labour)

As a Verified PayPal Business Seller we can accept payment from existing Verified PayPal accounts or from most major (PayPal) Verified Credit Cards.

Bank Deposit

For your convenience we maintain business bank accounts in London, New York, and Sydney amongst other global locations. Relevant branch details will be included in your invoice of sale. For buyers in Europe and elsewhere, bank transfers can be made easily using HSBC’s global network and full IBAN and SWIFT details will be sent as appropriate.

Personal Cheques (Checks)
Personal or business cheques are accepted when paid into any of the above bank accounts. Please bear in mind that we will need to wait for clearance of funds before your order can be despatched.

Import Tax

Import Tax (Including Customs Duty and VAT - Applicable to UK sales)
There is no Customs Duty payable on Digital SLR cameras. For all other model cameras and lenses/accessories, Duty is payable at the current rate, e.g., 4.9% on most lenses. VAT at 17.5% is payable on all cameras and lenses.
If Import Tax / VAT is accessed on your item, you will normally be notified by the courier service on, or prior to delivery. In these circumstances you will need to pay the amount due to the delivery agent.
There is no obligation for us to reimburse any duty / tax charges as all the item are at cost price.

Import Tax (Including Customs Duty and GST - Applicable to Australia sales)
There is no Import Tax payable on items valued less than AU$1000.00, (Inc. freight). Australian Custom's advice on purchases made over the Internet with a value over A$1,000.00 is that "Customs Duty and GST may be payable" (cited from AU Customs website).
For items valued over A$1,000, should Customs decide to ask for Import Tax, 10% GST is the only charge applicable (remember this is only for items valued over A$1,000), and it will be calculated based on the declared price including freight charges.

It is our present understanding that there is no Import Tax payable on our goods when imported into the USA. Please contact us for further clarification prior to purchasing.

Refunds/replacements will be provided under the following Terms and Conditions:

We are notified within 7 days from date of delivery if the item you receive is either not as described or damaged

Replacement/refund will be initiated on receipt of the original item to our offices

Any item returned must be in the same condition as when received, complete with all packaging materials

Buyers are responsible for all shipping cost in returning the item.

No information submitted by a buyer will be shared, sold, reused in lists, or be used for any other purpose than to complete a transaction or address a customer service concern.

We reserve the right to cancel a transaction, due to non- payment, after 7 working days.

Shipping (i.e., Courier charges) are reviewed regularly with our shipping agents to provide you with the most competitive rates. The rates shown are not negotiable on single items. We will be able to provide discounts on multiple items however, and to explore this please check with our Support desk for details.

Due to a high level of Credit Card frauds, it has become necessary for us to verify card ownership prior to processing payment in certain instances. This is to protect both our own interests and that of the authorized card holder. A buyer's Delivery address must match the address shown on the buyer's Credit Card. It may take up to 3 days (based on your response) before your order is processed if we need to verify personal data.

Please email us if you intend shipping to countries other than: UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, as special rates and conditions may apply in certain counties. We reserve the right to refuse shipment to certain destinations.

We reserve the right to cancel any order(s) if a particular item happens to be unexpectedly out of stock. A full refund will be given in these isolated cases.

In the events of the order is not available due to discontinue production by the manufacturer, we have the right to upgrade it to the newer version produce by the manufacturer of the similar model. However, full refund only been given if there is no newer version.

We reserve the right to change colour of the product should the colour ordered be unavailable. However, we will inform customers prior to shipment.

If paying using PayPal, please note that we will only deliver to a Confirmed Address, of a Verified PayPal account. We reserve the right to apply a 6% service charge on any payments received from Unverified PayPal accounts, should at our sole discretion, if it is decided to cancel the order. Please contact the seller if you require clarification.

Stock Availability: In the event an order is not available due to discontinuance of the stock item by the manufacturer, MyCameras2006 have the right to upgrade the item to a newer version so long as the price is no higher. However, full refund will be given if there is no newer version available.

A service fee of 10% will be applied to orders that are cancelled after payment has been received but prior to shipment, due to a buyers ‘change of mind’. Refunds will not be issued due to ‘change of mind’ if the item has already been confirmed as shipped. If you return goods that you believe are faulty but we find no defect then you may be charged a fee. If you return goods that have been used by you, you will be charged a fee.

Warranty

All our products carry a standard 12 months Warranty. Goods are warranted to be new, and free from defects in materials and workmanship. Should any item require service we will render this service at no charge for the period of one year from the date of purchase. We will also cover all costs connected with shipping and insurance of goods in transit.
